Parent/carer consultation evenings

Uniform

Parents/carers must ensure that students arrive to school in the correct school uniform. Uniform is checked during our daily meet and greet at the front of the school. Parents/carers can purchase additional uniform via ParentPay. Students can purchase uniform at Student Services using their ParentPay balance.

  • Black school blazer with the Brigshaw logo
  • Plain white long or short sleeved shirt with stiff collar with a stiff collar fastened at the neck

  • Knee length pleated skirt, ideally with the Brigshaw logo to ensure their suitability. However, if you would rather purchase a pleated skirt from elsewhere you are welcome to. For the academic year 2023/24 students may continue to wear their already purchased straight style skirts until they have grown out of it.

Parent/carer consultation evenings

Parent/carer consultation evenings are a vital aspect of the partnership between parents/carers and the school. Consultation evenings provide the opportunity for you to meet with each of your child's teachers to discuss academic progress and attitude to learning.  This will enable you to agree targets for your child in each subject, giving you support and direction in how to assist your child's academic development outside of school. The dates of the parent/carer consultation evenings are below and in the school calendar here. Your child's Director of Year will be in contact in the lead up to your child's consultation evening(s) with further information.
