PSHE

Welcome to our comprehensive PSHE programme. In our PSHE curriculum we prioritise the holistic development of our students. Our dedicated teaching team understands the importance of Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education (PSHE) in shaping well-rounded individuals ready to navigate the complexities of the modern world.

Opportunities for personal development are threaded throughout the curriculum which includes delivering the PSHE Curriculum, covering the personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE) of students. This follows statutory guidance on drugs education, financial & careers guidance (CIAG) and relationships & sex education (RSE).

Through interactive lessons, open discussions, and real-life scenarios, we empower students to explore topics such as mental health, relationships, financial literacy, and personal well-being. Our tailored curriculum is designed to foster critical thinking, empathy, and resilience, equipping students with essential life skills for success both inside and outside the classroom.

At Brigshaw High School, we recognise that every student is unique, and our PSHE programme is inclusive and adaptable to meet diverse needs and backgrounds. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, we aim to cultivate a community where students feel safe to express themselves, ask questions, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.
