Extended services

As an Extended Service School we work with other providers to offer services and activities beyond the school day to help to meet the needs of children, their families and the wider community.

Together with our partners we provide a Core Offer of:

• high quality, wrap-around childcare, with supervised transfer arrangements (where appropriate) available from 8am - 6pm
• parenting support including information sessions, parenting programmes and family learning
• swift, easy referral to a range of specialist support services such as speech therapy, child and adolescent mental health services, family support services, behaviour support, sexual health services
• Holiday clubs during the October, Easter, May and Summer breaks. These are open to children from Years 5-9 and include activities in the school plus visits to Alton Towers, the Doncaster Dome and many more
• wider community access to facilities such as ICT, sports and arts and adult learning opportunities, a variety of activities for young people such as homework clubs, sport, music, dance, drama, arts and crafts, first aid, chess, visits to museums and galleries, learning a language, business enterprise activities and so much more...

Children's Centres

We’re very positive about the future extension of the services we can provide for children, their families and the wider community. We've established two Children's Centres: one in Kippax and more recently, the Villages East Centre at Great Preston.
