What an amazing start to our Olympic and Paralympic event. International visitors have arrived and are settling in well with hosts who were keen to extend a warm welcome.
Yesterday saw a phenomenal piece of history unfold as the World Record for the largest Zumba class was thrashed by our enthusiastic team of primary school children, Brigshaw students and staff, international visitors and members of the community. We are awaiting verification that we have taken the new world record with 3,302 people involved.
