Pupils 'Go the extra mile'

More than two hundred and thirty Year 7 Brigshaw pupils ran the ‘extra mile’ for Sport Relief and raised much needed funds for the charity.

Our pupils took part in the sponsored run which involved them running around our school facilities including the synthetic turf pitch, playing fields and playground areas to complete the extra mile.

The event was organised by our PE department and each pupil raised at least £1.00 which will go to Sport Relief.

The PE team were thrilled by the success of the event saying “We are really proud of our Year 7 pupils. Everyone enjoyed the run and had lots of fun raising money for a really good cause.”
