In the run up to the Brigshaw Co-operative Trust Olympic and Paralympic event, 16-25 June, more than 200 children and young people from across the Trust travelled to the newly opened Olympic Park in London to watch international hockey matches.

They were given the opportunity to partake in this historical event because of their hard work and commitment helping lead the Trust Olympic and Paralympic event in June. They have spent considerable time organising fundraising activities, planning events and putting together a fun packed itinerary for our international guests. Many will also host students during the Trust Olympic/Paralympic week.

We had an amazing time and everyone enjoyed the event. It was really special to visit the London Olympic Park before the historic event takes place.
