from Brigshaw to the BBC...

Three Year 9 pupils, George Cooney, Chloe Campbell and Kieran Hart-Brook, entered a BBC competition which involved them reciting a Shakespearian speech off by heart.

They spent time learning speeches from texts such as Shakespeare’s Macbeth and King Lear and delivering the words in a heartfelt, meaningful way. They all did really well in the competition and we were very proud of them.

Good luck to Chloe who was filmed for the BBC and is now in the second round of the competition.
