Why study Fashion?

Fashion is an integral part of our lives and affects how we feel about ourselves. Studying Fashion is fun, creative and interesting and you’ll learn some fabulous techniques such as decorating, stitching and combining fabrics which are very enjoyable. This course offers you the opportunity to design and create unique items and you’ll develop an individual portfolio of your work.

What will I study?

You will find out about different fabrics and you will learn construction techniques that enable you to make products that you have designed yourself.

What skills will I develop?

You will develop lots of different skills including fabric-dyeing, silk-painting, hand and machine stitching, quilting, designing, pattern-making, garment construction, textiles technology and much, much more.
