Why study ICT?

ICT skills are now as essential as those of traditional numeracy and literacy. This qualification is a revolutionary new paperless course that focuses on the practical application of technology. It provides you with advanced skills training and encourages independence, creativity and organisation using ICT. Being a paperless qualification, you are assessed on your digital portfolio of evidence. 

What will I study?

You will develop your knowledge of ICT and Graphics skills to enable you to present high quality information and produce publications for print and screen. You will study spreadsheets and databases and learn how to manage and monitor a project from start to finish. You will use your developing expertise to produce effective graphics using vectors and bitmap tools to communicate and exhibit your achievements in an e-portfolio.

What skills will I develop?

You will use and develop the skills mentioned above, many of which transfer to the workplace, for example effective planning and organisation, creative design and managing a project from start to finish.
