A world of possibilities

•  work to promote community cohesion is very strong which helps pupils understand and respect other cultures, religions and customs; pupils contribution to the community is outstanding.

We aim to make our pupils more independent learners, who take more responsibility for their progress and achievement as they move up through the school. We understand that pupils learn in different ways, and teachers use a wide range of learning and teaching strategies to help all youngsters make progress.

We believe that our 'outstanding guidance and support' (Ofsted December 2009) is essential in helping our pupils become tolerant, confident, independent learners.

We agree that many memorable experiences take place outside the normal school day and we are committed to providing our children with opportunities to develop their interests and skills. We provide a wide range of activities beyond the classroom such as field trips, cultural visits, performing arts productions, sports teams and clubs and immersion days.
